AREA OF PRODUCTION: DOP UTIEL-REQUENA
VINEYARD: selected plots in the village (“Aldea”) of San Juan in Requena, old vines 60 years, bush, irrigated, 700m above sea level, chalky-clay soils.

Tasting Notes

WINEMAKING: Fermented and aged for 10 months in tanks of raw concrete, followed by an additional ag in barrels of French oak, 500Lt each.

COLOR: Intense garnet red, medium, with purple hues.

AROMA: Fragrant, intense aroma of red berries with spicy and balsamic notes (with black pepper, liquor).
Light hint of toast due to the barrel ageing.

TASTE: Powerful, with a firm structure and character, well-balanced with the pleasant taste of red and berries. Light spicy hints on the background, with a refreshing acidity and tasty tannins. Long and persi finish.
