VINEYARD: Inside of our vineyard “El Albardín”, with organic certificate, the grapes used to produce this wine are harvested in the sub-zone called “El Perdío” : 1,2Has (almost 30acres) with 60year-old vines, grown in goblet and at 660m above Sea level, on soils with a higher clay content.
PRODUCTION: Limited, 3470 bottles of 75cl (vintage 2020)

Tasting notes

WINEMAKING: This wine has been made in our cellar “Viticultores de SanJuan” located in the little village of SanJuan, in Requena.
Bobal 100% . Fermentation in barrels of French oak (500liters, open on top). A part of the grapes keep their stem during fermentation.
Ageing in tanks of raw concrete.
COLOR: Intense ripe cherry red with violet tinges.
AROMA: Expressive fresh fruit, characteristic of the Bobal grape variety, with the singularity of the raw concrete of our San Juan cellar and the balanced complexity due to the fermentation and the ageing in the barrels.
TASTE: well structured and firm on the palate, tasty complexity.
